Third Grade
Ms. Alfaro, Miss DiVincenzo-Root, Mr. Rosenhouse, Mrs. Rubinstein

The third graders of Lincoln School have worked diligently to improve their writing skills this year.  To keep those writing skills razor sharp, we recommend keeping a
journal along with reading everyday.  Just 20 minutes each day will be greatly
beneficial.  You will be happy you did so in September!!  Also, you can find math in
everyday situations, so parents, please ask your child whenever possible questions about
money, time, measurement, etc.  We call these "teachable moments", and they arise in
everyday situations.

Thank you for the privilege of teaching your children, we have enjoyed watching them
grow this year in so many ways.  Have a safe and happy summer!
